Graveyard post (pre 5.4): Phase 2 - Organizing guild banks

This post was written after this post more than a year ago which also had to do with organizing and liquidating. There's still some parts that are relevant, especially when I add my thoughts about Warlords in future posts.

So after liquidating tons of stuff by vendoring, AH wholesale pricing and giving away mounts, pets and other stuff i've finally come to a great place; Less inventory = Better organization. That means that I can set up my guild banks in a way so that I can level Jewelcrafting as well as use them for storage/AH posting.

As a gold maker you have many options, especially once you have some capital. And i'll be honest, hovering around 50k nowadays compared to being way above 700k for the majority of Cataclysm is a different situation for me in Mists. I'm not broke, but i'm also far from rich. Especially in an expansion where hitting that 1 million mark means so little. Nowadays i'd say hitting 3-5 million would be the new "1 million".

So what am I doing to reach those 5 million? Not much and far from enough. My mission right now isn't to make tons of gold, but rather regain tons of slots in my guild banks. The past month i've been busy getting rid of old stuff that i've held onto for far too long. I won't list the damn thangz, but a couple of screenshots will give you an idea.

The Oqueue addon is pure greatness

This addon has changed the way that I play WoW completely. The past weeks I’ve killed world bosses at least 20 times. Something that would be impossible if I only tried doing it on BDF EU. With this incredible addon I can do BG’s, RBG’s, raids, legendary quests, do Monkey runs, farm the Northern Barrens and much more. This addon is great! There’s  one huge downside, it will spam your bnet friends from time to time and when that happens it’s impossible to keep a conversation going.

With this addon I can play on the level I feel comfortable with and not have to depend on my guildies or friends to be online. With my playstyle that’s closer to the anti social part of the scale this suits me perfectly because there’s no weird reasons to bring along someone or not to do it. It’s just log and play. I love it!
